THE MERCHANT OF VENICE Rosa Moceniga EDP 50 ml Rosa Moceniga is an ancient rose, which arrived in Europe several centuries ago from the valleys of Central China. Today it grows wild in the Venetian hinterland, but its silvery pink petals and fruity scent evoke distant, rich, and exotic lands. A rose from China, rare and precious, whose name Moceniga derives from the ancient Mocenigo family, whose historic residence in Alvisopoli has hosted a rose garden for more than two hundred years. This mysterious flower was imported by Lucia Mocenigo upon her return from a long stay in Paris, during which, thanks to her friendship with Joséphine Bonaparte, she developed a great passion for this kind of flower. The top notes immediately seduce the senses with the freshness of Sicilian bergamot and the sweetness of Rosa Moceniga essence, delicately enlivened by blackcurrant leaves. A luxurious bouquet emerges at the heart: dominated by a Rose absolute, enhanced by a fresh and spring-like Magnolia and a transparent lotus flower. The fragrance is crowned by a soft and sensual base: comforting musks, white cedarwood, and vanilla absolute are sprinkled with amber crystals, creating a perfect base for the majesty of this rose.
