Francesca dell'Oro Sainte + Figue Parfum is a unisex fruity perfume. This fragrance begins in the shadow of a sin, but not just any sin...but sin with a capital P. With Sainte + Figue Eau de Parfum, Francesca dell'Oro wanted to delve deeper into the history of an emblematic and fascinating fruit, as well as highly symbolic, rich in contrasts and religious and prophetic meanings. We are clearly talking about the fig, a sacred and venerated fruit, as well as its plant. For ancient philosophers, its link with knowledge is undisputed and celebrated at all times: an icon of knowledge, of clarity for the mind, a fruit capable of stimulating curiosity and physical strength. Eastern religions also venerate the sacred plant: Buddhists, in fact, attribute the true link with faith and profound well-being to "being under a fig tree". The fig, however, is a fruit with a double meaning: it is no coincidence that the biblical narrative mentions the fig tree as an entity that presides over birth, but also that leads to damnation; after all, Adamo de Eva used its leaves to cover their shame. Sainte + Figue Eau de Parfum explores all the darker, voluptuous and multifaceted sides of the fig.| The packaging: impossible not to spend a few lines on the wonderful box of this perfume! The new graphics are inspired by ancient Roman frescoes (in particular, at the Casa del Frutteto). The image, hand-redrawn in watercolor by Francesca Manetta, was created specifically for the new case and is a riot of references and colors linked to the symbolism of the fig and the snake.
