Perris Essence de Patchouli is a woody unisex eau de parfum. One of the most important ingredients available to a perfumer, Patchouli is a plant that grows in Indonesia, China, and India. The essential oil is obtained by distilling the leaves, and it releases a strong, complex, woody scent with notes of camphor and undergrowth, and the highest quality has a bitter cocoa aroma. The essence is very persistent. Its powerful scent makes it popular in aromatherapy to treat stress, depression, and also to control appetite. In Essence de Patchouli, pure Patchouli essential oil is used, harmonized in the heart by the richness and sensuality of Rose and Geranium, and made sophisticated in the base by an oriental/woody touch through an embrace of Labdanum Absolute, Vanilla, Iris, Cashmeran, and precious woods. The result is a refined Chypre/Oriental, rich, warm, dry but soft.
