Francesca dell'Oro Sainte + Figue Parfum 100 ml is a fruity unisex fragrance. This scent begins in the shadow of a sin, but not just any sin... rather, the Sin with a capital S. With Sainte + Figue Eau de Parfum, Francesca dell'Oro wanted to delve into the story of an emblematic and fascinating fruit, which is also highly symbolic, rich in contrasts and religious and prophetic meanings. We are clearly talking about the fig, a sacred and revered fruit, as is its tree. For ancient philosophers, its connection with knowledge is undisputed and celebrated in every era: an icon of knowledge, clarity of mind, a fruit capable of stimulating curiosity and physical strength. Eastern religions also venerate its sacred tree: Buddhists, in fact, attribute the true connection with la fede and deep well-being to "being under a fig tree." The fig, however, is a fruit with double meaning: it is no coincidence that the biblical narrative mentions the fig tree as an entity that presides over birth, but also brings damnation; after all, Adam and Eve used its leaves to cover their shame. Sainte + Figue Eau de Parfum explores all the darkest, most voluptuous, and multifaceted sides of the fig.The packaging: it's impossible not to spend a few lines on the wonderful box of this perfume! The new design is inspired by ancient Roman frescoes (in particular, the House of the Orchard). The image, hand-redrawn in watercolor by Francesca Manetta, was created specifically for the new case and is a triumph of references and colors linked to the symbolism of the fig and the serpent. A Garden of Eden, dove where the fig tree stands as a connection between heaven and earth, between human and divine.
