The freshness of the top notes blooms vigorously from blackcurrant buds, Sicilian bergamot, and a touch of mint. The floral heart note opens into a rich bouquet of jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, and carnation. And finally, in the base notes, the absolute power of passion and sensuality, in the lingering magic of balsam, which holds the secret of ROME. The balsam is a combination of North African myrrh with Siamese ambergris and vanilla extract, still produced using traditional methods. Singapore patchouli and Balkan oakmoss perfect the persistent harmony of the fragrance.
