Bacchanalian nights at the Moulin Rouge were fueled by this forbidden absinthe liqueur that lives on the razor's edge between bitter and sweet, between cold and warm, between delirium and inspiration. Fou d'Absinthe opens with the steel grip of ice-cold alcohol, wrapped in the distinctive, slightly bitter, and unnerving absinthe, touched with a lively tingle of Angelica. The unique 'hot-cold' sensation continues as the crisp and cold bite of anise contrasts with the warmth of a cocktail of four spices, before settling into a blend of pine resin, fir balsam, and woody cistus.
