An incredibly powerful and evocative perfume composed for LArtisan Parfumeur by Bertrand Duchaufour. A perfumer who has a passion for travel and who had already created Timbuktu inspired by Africa. This time he drew inspiration from a trip to Bhutan, a small kingdom located in the eastern Himalayas between India and China. He composed Dzongkha, a fragrance inspired by the mysterious smell of incense and the stones of Buddhist temples (the Dzongks) with notes of leather and skins, smoked tea and the evocation of places of fire - around which life is organized as the climate is very difficult in this region. A fragrance that also evokes the smell of refined flowers that grow in this extraordinary preserved nature. A disconcerting fragrance, an invitation to spirituality and an inner journey. Its enveloping path is unexpectedly intimate and present. This fragrance speaks to men and women and tells a unique story for each skin: that of Dzongkha the language of Bhutan. In the top notes we find the freshness of pink peonies and the flavor of lychee which vibrate with cardamom. The heart of the fragrance is accompanied by notes of chai (spiced milk tea) which soften the strength of the wood where vetiver stands out among the fumes of incense. This intensity is accentuated by cypriol (Indian papyrus) and leather notes. The iris with its dusty base note symbolizes both the stone aspect and the softness of the fragrance. Composition: Lichee cardamom Peony Iris tea leaves Incense
