Francesca Bianchi Luxe Calme Volupte 30 ml is a floral essence for men and women. In this historical moment, Francesca Bianchi felt the need to offer – rather than a too bold creation – something that could bring comfort to the spirit, an invitation to connect with oneself and temporarily forget daily concerns. Inspired by a verse from Baudelaire's poem Invitation au Voyage, it is a journey through places of pleasure. In this poem, Baudelaire invites his lover to join him in an exotic place dove where they can live in calm and peace, within the context of his Decadentist aesthetic. Luxe Calme Volupté is also the name of a beautiful painting by Henri Matisse that conveys the same ideas that inspired my perfume, namely the contrast between a calm and peaceful character on one side, and sensual and decadent elements on the other.
