Molecule 01 + Patchouli Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 + Patchouli is made up of Iso E Super + Patchouli. Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule characterized by a cedarwood note with a warm, velvety, and enveloping sensation. Patchouli is a natural extract from the leaves of the patchouli plant. Geza Schoen: "Patchouli is a unique natural. Unlike 99% of perfume ingredients, we associate it with a particular period, the Sixties and Seventies and that bohemian spirit. It has a cool, rather detached woodiness. I love it for its moody beauty. I used two qualities of patchouli here. The largest part is Patchouli Coeur, which is a very clean and soft fraction of patchouli oil with the camphor-like top note removed. I also included a patchouli oil from Indonesia to complete it with a touch of top note. The result is a sophisticated and clean patchouli that pairs extraordinarily well with Molecule 01."
