D. S. & DURGA Coriander EDP 50 ml Fascinating coriander. A spice, yet cool. When we think of spices, we think of warmth: nutmeg, ginger, cloves, cinnamon. We picture crackling fires, winter coziness, or the tropical climates dove these plants grow. Naturally, with a touch of perfumers’ magic, it is possible to overturn these sensations. But coriander is inherently cool in itself. Fresh, green, pungent, and evocative of grass, the vastness of fields, and the tempestuous sea. Our coriander fragrance comes from the hills above Odessa, on the Black Sea. Tall stems bearing celadon-colored ridged seeds, gazing down at the ships in the harbor. At the top, fresh, pungent coriander is heightened by sap-green lime peel and the herbaceous, assertive touch of Moroccan rosemary (which is rounder than that of Eastern Europe). Cubeb seeds—the noble cousin of black pepper—lend a further roundness that is fresh, dry, and musky.
