BYREDO Oud Immortel EDP 50 ml Oud Immortel and Accord Oud are both created around oud, a certain type of wood that, thanks to its use in traditional incense and perfume, has acquired great cultural significance and has its existence recorded in one of the world's oldest written texts: the Indian Sanskrit Veda. When the once-light heartwood of the Aquilaria tree is infected by a specific type of mold, it defends itself by saturating its core with a dark, highly fragrant resin. This dark wood, oud or agarwood, contains a complex fragrance, similar to few or no other natural raw materials.
