Oud is an extremely rare and precious essence extracted from Agarwood, the resinous heart of the Aquilaria tree from South-East Asia. The extract itself has a dark color and a penetrating aroma that is warm and woody and at the same time strongly animalic. In many Eastern countries, oud is considered more precious than gold.
