Perfumer Asim Al Qassim's vision explores the yin and yang of true love, a balance between the bittersweet sacrifice of submission and the enveloping warmth of unconditional love. Ishq Red Eau de Parfum 75 ml opens with a leathery, dry and slightly bitter saffron note, then sweetened by juicy raspberry and a delicate cloud of pink talcum powder. In the base, oakmoss takes the lead, with an olfactory profile that evokes dried marine lichen, ink and algae, giving the perfume an intriguing saline dryness that, while not veering towards chypre, remains anchored to the strong character of leather. Despite the bold presence of raspberry, Ishq Red remains a perfectly unisex fragrance: a saffron-colored suede, fresh and unique, with a taste so irresistible that it arouses an immediate desire to wear it.
