Viktor&Rolf is a Dutch haute couture house founded in 1993 by Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, both trained at the Art and Design Academy in Arnhem, Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam, the house has established itself from the beginning as a meeting point between fashion and conceptual art: the collections — presented in Paris since 1998 — have always favored the strength of the idea over convention, translating into sculptural silhouettes and surreal contrasts a wholly personal aesthetic. Since 2008, Viktor&Rolf has been part of the OTB group. The perfumery represents a natural extension of this visual and sensory universe for the house: each fragrance carries the same conceptual tension that inhabits the runways.
