The origin of the legend of the Musk dates back to Indian mythology: the demon Pulaka, after having atoned for a long and severe punishment in the form of an antelope, obtained from the god Shiva, as a reward, the ability to emanate a very intense perfume. This name, Musk, comes from the Sanskrit mrgamada, and means love secretion of the Antelope.
