Roberto Drago "The first inspiration for this fragrance was a beautiful journey to Wadi Darbat, in southern Oman. It is a unique place in the Middle East because all the monsoons arriving from India end their course here. Instead of being dry and desert-like, as one might expect, this region is lush and botanically very diverse: great rivers, great trees and a particular treasure that belongs to this region, the Sidr Tree. The Sidr Tree has nothing in common with cedarwood. It is an ancient tree from the Ziziphus family, bearing beautiful red fruits and astonishing flowers. Thanks to these flowers, the local bees produce the richest, most exclusive and distinctive honey one could imagine. It is extremely well known by the name Yemen Sidr Honey. I had the opportunity to spend a few days there with a botanist and an 'incense grower', and I returned from this journey with the inspiration for Sidr Valley. I created a fragrance that captures the different facets of Sidr Honey and its natural environment". Pierre Guéros
