Sabon

Founded in 1997 in a small shop in Tel Aviv, on the historic Shenkin street, Sabon takes its name from the Semitic word that simply means soap. The original idea was radical in its simplicity: a handcrafted solid soap, sold fresh and by weight according to an Australian formula recovered from the founders' travels. Since that debut, the brand has built a precise identity around Eastern Mediterranean ingredients — Dead Sea salts and mud, olive oil, shea butter, essential oils — consistently chosen and integrated into a range that today encompasses body care, home, and personal fragrance. Since 2016, Sabon has operated under the French Groupe Rocher, maintaining a network of boutiques in fourteen countries. The formulas exclude parabens, mineral oils, and phthalates; the transparent glass containers — an immediately recognizable visual trait — give the products a tangible, almost edible presence.

The Sabon selection at Papique

The twenty references available in the catalog cover the entire body ritual according to Sabon's vision: from cleansing to nourishing textures to leave on, to ambient fragrances and accessories designed to complete the sensory experience. Those approaching the brand for the first time can start with the most characteristic olfactory lines — built on the same plant-based raw materials that run through the entire production — and proceed to the more elaborate formats. Those already familiar with Sabon will find here a curated selection, without dispersion.

We invite you to explore the selection: each product reveals itself in its texture, its fragrance, and the logic that connects it to others — a way of caring for oneself that is worth experiencing at a leisurely pace.
