The Sultane of Saba

Founded in 1998 by Vanessa Sitbon, La sultane de saba is born from the legacy of a family hammam in Fès, Morocco, and from an oral transmission of cosmetic knowledge passed down from mother to daughter. All products are manufactured in France, packaged mainly in recyclable glass, and formulated without parabens, silicones, and microbeads; some references are certified organic. The raw materials — rare oils, resins, clays, botanicals — come from selected cooperatives around the world, with a focus on fair sourcing processes for ingredients like argan oil. The brand's visual and olfactory identity is articulated in distinct ranges, each inspired by a geography of wellness: the East, Bali, India, Malaysia, Tahiti — each with its own aromatic signature and application rituals.

The selection of La sultane de saba on Papique

The 79 products in the catalog cover the entire spectrum of body rituals: massage and bath oils, gommage, savon beldi, butters, scented creams and lotions, perfume waters, candles, and gift boxes for the complete ritual. To navigate the selection, it is advisable to start from the olfactory family that resonates most — amber and musk, Damask rose, orange blossom, patchouli and vanilla, Ayurvedic fragrances — and build around it the treatment sequence, from cleansing to the final fragrance. The formulas are designed to be layered in olfactory layering: each step amplifies the next.

Scroll through the selection below: each product sheet includes the aromatic family, texture, and usage instructions to help you compose your personal ritual.
