LE GALION Eau Folle EDP 100 ml With an energy multiplied tenfold by the irrepressible desire for freedom, Eau Folle generously and chaotically projects all the liveliness of a bouquet of aromatic herbs with spicy, green, and herbaceous facets. Tonic and stimulating, the top notes rise to power before giving way to a base of damp, diffusive woods that prolong its freshness. All this in a concentration never seen before for this olfactory family: a full 25%! After the Second World War, numerous perfumes aimed to bring some well-being and relief to the population. By combining fresh and luminous notes with stronger and richer base notes, these creations were later nicknamed "eaux fraîches." Paul Vacher, the iconic perfumer of Le Galion, was one of the first to work with this olfactory style, and in 1953 he presented Whip, a delightful explosion of citrus in contrast with an aromatic heart and a woody and chypre base. Over the years, he continued to revisit his own collection in lighter versions. Taking its name from an iconic creation now discontinued from the 1970s, Eau Folle was launched in 2024, paying tribute to Paul Vacher's famous eaux fraîches in a contemporary style with endless longevity.
