Roos & roos was born in Paris in 2014 from the meeting of two complementary sensibilities: that of Chantal Roos, a key figure in international perfumery — whose career has traversed fundamental chapters in the history of modern fragrance, from L'Eau d'Issey to YSL Opium — and that of Alexandra Roos, her daughter, singer-songwriter and composer. The name of the brand is the overlap of two identities, a double surname that is also a manifesto: fragrance and music as converging languages, both capable of evoking emotions that words cannot reach. Each composition is entrusted to noses of absolute prominence — including Fabrice Pellegrin, Dominique Ropion, and Alexandra Carlin — with complete freedom over raw materials and olfactory form, without compromise.
