Moth & rabbit

Moth & Rabbit is an experimental perfume house born in Berlin, with a soul divided between the German capital and Paris. Founded by Elke Filpes and Christian Choi, the house builds each fragrance starting from a story — cinematic, visual, emotional — entrusting the olfactory translation to the nose Mark Buxton. The name holds a manifesto: the moth (moth) as a symbol of transformation, the rabbit (rabbit) as a principle of reproduction. Together, they govern a creative method that starts from the image and arrives at the scent, reversing the usual direction of perfumery. The aesthetic is strictly minimalist, and the raw materials are carefully selected: luxury is not ornamentation, but density of meaning.

The Moth & Rabbit Selection

The twenty-nine items on this page include the eau de parfum from the Berlin house along with the accessories and formats that complete its universe. The fragrances move through very different registers — green and aquatic, smoky, spicy, sensual — united by a conceptual construction that precedes the technique. Each composition is born from a specific story: knowing that story guides the choice much more than an olfactory pyramid. Those looking for an immediately reassuring scent will likely find it elsewhere; those who want the fragrance to say something precise will find a serious interlocutor here.

We invite you to browse the selection at your leisure: the product sheets report the notes and the story that inspired each composition. If you have any doubts about your choice, the Papique team is available for tailored advice.
